The work was undertaken in oil based clay over a metal and plaster armature and was completed over a period of four weeks. It was then moulded in silicone rubber from which a wax ‘investment’ cast is made. This is then re-moulded as a waste mould for the first cast to be taken in bronze via the ‘lost wax’ process. This was done by the Livingstone Art Foundry in Kent.  Other casts could be taken up to an edition of eight. >> next
